These girls are a MISSION to meet Taylor Swift and they reached out to me to help promote their YouTube video. It is the mom in me that melts my heart watching the time/effort/love they poured into making this. But it is also the fact that I know down in my bones what it is to be a hardcore, hopeless, obsessed, single-minded FANGIRL. When I slept on the concrete outside Mad Jack’s electronics to buy tickets to see Duran Duran in 1984, I was these girls. If I had had the internet back then, oh man it would have been a bad scene, cos I would have unleashed all manner of ridiculousness upon the world in my headlong pursuit of Simon Le Bon.

So to these young ladies: I see you.  : )
